A managed services provider running ERPNext was experiencing duplicate Sales Invoices created when multiple processes hit the system at once. We traced it to a race condition and built a server-side atomic method with row-level locking — duplication stopped completely, with no impact on normal invoicing speed.
Custom API Integration with Built-In Safeguards
For a national IT services business, we built a custom integration between ERPNext and an external platform, including duplicate-record detection and a configurable gating system so outbound calls only fire when explicitly enabled per environment — keeping test environments from accidentally triggering production automation.
Finding the Bug That Wasn't Throwing Errors
An Issue list view was silently excluding valid records — no errors, no warnings, just missing data. We traced it to a NULL field generating an unintended database join, corrected the logic, and restored full visibility.
